Hail to the Victors!

One of the highlights of our day at The Big House...

Trip to the Big House

Kyler got to go to his first U of M game (or Go Blue! as he likes to call them).  It was a cold day and tailgateing with just mom and dad wasn't all it was cracked up to be after 5 minutes.

But the band and stadium were quiet impressive!

And we found cousins!!!

There was even some tackle football off the field with some nearby tailgaters!

Bye, Bye Mullet

It's hard to admit, but Taylor Ann has been sporting a mullet for a while since her hair started growing in. Right behind her ears seems to be a hot spot for long locks, and the only spot. Her hair is still quite sparse and fine, so I really didn't want to have to cut a single strand off. But we finally had to do something about it when tucking it behind her ears no longer hid the issue. It was a family effort as Kyler took the pics while daddy held down the little lady and mommy chop-chopped the 80's do, adieu!

It's Pumpkin Pickin' Time

We made our annual trip to Heritage Farm to pick pumpkins and enjoy the autumn season. It is amazing that just 2 short years ago we made our first trip out there when Kyler was one. He was hitting the pumpkin around the 2 foot mark and now he's well past 3 with a sister at his side!

Off to pick pumpkins

Harvest Weekend

Welcome Fall!
We spent the weekend end enjoying all things from the autumn season. Thursday night was the Harvest Festival Parade. We meet daddy at his office and had a Subway picnic in the conference room. Taylor looks good in that chair... maybe she will be the next DeKuiper in the insurance line? I forgot to bust out the camera for the parade, but we enjoyed it through our children's eyes! Taylor was clapping and waving at the people and animals. One of Kyler's little friends from school ended up next to us and they caught candy and laughed at the floats together... too cute!

Next up was the Farmer's Market for some seasonal goodies and even a free apple and painted pumpkin for Kyler (he couldn't believe it was free!) We stopped by to see the antique tractors in the park before we headed home for football, of course. Too bad Blue couldn't pull it out:( But we enjoyed tailgating in front of the t.v. anyway.

Kyler next to a "Don Jeer" as he affectionately calls the tractor brand.

Post game we made a trip to Nelson's Farm Market for some apple cider and to view the giant pumpkins.
I love the fall!
